Salomon’s roots in outdoor sports go all the way back to 1947, when the fledgling company adapted their metalworking equipment to make edges and binding for skis. Salomon’s interest in adventure sports expanded into areas like snowboarding, climbing, and hiking. In 2001, Salomon introduced their first trail running shoe, kickstarting the brand’s current status as a preeminent name in trail running performance footwear.

The design of the XA-Pro Fusion Advanced is rooted in Salomon’s trail running DNA, stemming from the XA-Pro Franchise. The upper of this version comprises significant updates, which include the Kurim Sensifit structure. Kurim is a strong, EVA based compound which simultaneously acts as a stabilizer and protective layer. The Endofit system comes as a welcome addition for improved foothold and sleeker silhouette.
