The 20th anniversary of the New Balance 991 comes to a close with two vibrant colorways from Miami streetwear stalwarts, Stray Rats. And, with both designs being released in men’s and women’s sizes, the collaboration offers the rare experience of universal accessibility in a single drop.

Made in the UK at New Balance’s Flimby factory, the shoe which debuted the extension of ABSORB cushioning to the forefront while tightening up the toe box, is now further enhanced by a material upgrade featuring pigskin uppers and suede overlays accompanied by synthetic nubuck and reflective accents. Cobranded insoles and ‘//stray’ embroidery at the forefoot complete the design.
