Marking his first direct attempt at shoe design, the “Trippy Summer” editions of Jaden’s latest Vision Racers start with inspiration from his favorite New Balance model, the 1700. While his signature shoe has always boasted vegan-friendly materials, Jaden takes his eco-conscious, sustainability-focused design one step further with the incorporation of recycled materials. 

Earth-loving, tree-hugging tendencies have long been hippie stereotypes, and Smith takes the connection one step further adding an array of colorful hits just above the midsole. A groovy font that reworks the New Balance logo on the heel and spells out the words “Vision Racer” on the translucent outsole to finish the 1970s inspired design.
