Sneaker brands are rarely known for their collaborations with other product design companies. But why not? After all, a great design is a great design.

Eames Office was formed by the husband and wife design team of Charles and Ray Eames in the mid-20th century. Examing the possibilities of structural and material design by combining simplistic modern designs with comfort and quality for mass consumption, the Eames’ would go on to influence the realms of art, architecture, communications, textiles, toys, and of course, furniture. The first person to be given a solo show at the MoMA for furniture design, Charles Eames’ plywood creations, particularly his dining room chairs, would go on to be the chief inspiration and model for Herman Miller’s iconic seat silhouette. 

Now, just when you thought the legendary design company had done it all, the Eames company is now taking on the Reebok Club C. Another entity known for combining quality and comfort with simplistic and timeless style, the Club C has long been known for its consistency and a three-decade old design that has seen very little variance since its release. 

Eames’ take on the Club C, remains respectful to the brand’s understated design and together with its reliable comfort and quality the iconic silhouette aligns perfectly with the Eames’ design ethos. Using luxe garment leather and a terry cloth sock liner, Eames’ Club C comes in simple black or white with Eames branding and logo on the tongue and again on the side window where the Reebok Union Jack logo traditionally sits.
