Salomon’s roots in outdoor sports go all the way back to 1947, when the fledging company adapted their metalworking equipment to make edges and binding for skis. Salomon’s interest in adventure sports expanded into areas like snowboarding, climbing, and hiking. In 2001, Salomon introduced their first trail running shoe, kickstarting the brand’s current status as a preeminent name in trail running performance footwear. 

Compatriots in country and spirit, makers of high quality, functionality Avnier, bring their brand of technical expertise to Salomon’s high performance footwear. 

For this third collaboration with Salomon, we were inspired by the Marathon des Sables, this 250km race in 7 days in the dunes of the Moroccan Sahara. 

The sneakers have a palette of colors that reflect the neutral tones of the desert: sand, ivory and stone. The electric blue of the sole and the laser cuts of shiny beige are juxtaposed to give the impression of a misty mirage in the heart of the desert, the attraction of sparkling water among the sand dunes.

Very light, the sneakers are optimized with Salomon technologies: Contagrip® soles for better resistance, simple and effective lacing system Quicklace ™, breathability and cushioning with OrthoLite® insoles and finally optimal support of the foot with SensiFit ™ technology .
