Byborre is an Amsterdam based textile innovation studio working on the frontiers of material development, functionality and aesthetics through engineered knits.

The self-proclaimed “Masters of Knit” may be known for their collaborations, but the studio also produces its own line, which takes a radical approach to textiles. By thinking about the future of people and the planet, BYBORRE creates fabrics for the next generation while ignoring the traditional, the wasteful and the inflexible, and instead question everything, from the manufacturing chain to the creative process.

The D1 pant is the archetype BYBORRE pant shape, with a center front seam on each leg, paneling on the back that runs from the waist to knee and tapered legs. The design uses seams and paneling to maximize mobility and comfort while keeping a structured silhouette. The elasticated waistband has a zip and button closure along with a drawstring with shrink tube finishing. The back pocket is on the side, changing the position of your conventional back pocket to keep up circulation when sitting on your wallet. All critical wear points are reinforced with bartacks, a result of heavy user testing by the BYBORRE community.
