Brought to the forefront of footwear fashion by last month’s Casablanca’s collaboration, the New Balance 327 may be a new silhouette for New Balance, but the design’s roots are as retro as it gets.

Inspired by archival runners from the 1970s, the nylon and suede upper sports a classic blue and yellow on the outer side, abrupting turning into a yellow and orange combination on the inner foot. Despite the transformation, an oversized “N” logo remains the focal point while a classic ridged rubber sole with rounded rubber cleats completes the retro look.
