Maybe it’s the very simple fact that running in the Finnish wilderness, especially during the winter months, isn’t an activity liable to attract a lot of trend-hopping dilettantes, but Karhu have always been regarded a true runner’s brand. As such, even their heritage offerings are presented with the brand’s legacy of top-of-the-line athletic performance firmly in mind. 

Karhu first released the “Legacy” back in 1996. Adding a cushioned “landing zone,” sandwich construction heel cap, and EVA midsole, the new features provided an extra level of comfort to the brand’s growing catalog– one which had already proven itself fit for Olympia-grade runners.

Quarter of a century later and the Legacy still sticks to its well-constructed roots, this time with gray performance mesh, white leather, and apricot suede overlays.
