Kumanokoido makes the most unique teddy bears in the world. The brand’s designer and founder, Junichi Nakane, uses upcycled materials from coveted brands like Nike, Arc’teryx, and Bodega to create individually crafted pieces of art. Each bear is different — whoever gets their hands on a Kumanokoido bear has a one-of-a-kind collector’s item. 

For his latest collaboration with Bodega, we took some of our favorite pieces from our private label and had Nakane repurpose them into plush toys any Bodega fan would be stoked to get a hold of. Last, but absolutely not least, in the spirit of conservation and the positive energy Kumanokoido bears radiate, we’re also donating all net proceeds from this collaboration to the National Wildlife Federation to celebrate National Wildlife Day.

The National Wildlife Federation is America’s largest conservation organization and works across the country to unite Americans from all walks of life in giving wildlife a voice. Since 1936, the NWF has been on the front lines for wildlife and has striven to increase America’s fish and wildlife populations and enhance their capability to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
