The technical virtuosity backed sense of improvisation that can seem effortless to the uninformed observer can certainly apply to both jazz musicians and Daiki Suzuki, but the ‘Balance and Tune’ collection doesn’t just deal in generalities; in particular, the collection draws on the ‘Ivy’ tinged style of jazz icon Miles Davis. 

The utilitarian menswear staples that anchor every Engineered Garments collection are presented with an especially subdued palette, heavy in brown, grey, navy and black, drawn from classic men’s suiting, while the season’s more experimental offerings present jazz club sophistication with Suzuki’s unmistakable individual flourishes.
