Needles is Japanese design maven Keizo Shimizu’s almost avant-garde take on vintage and utilitarian clothing. Whether repurposing old garments by sewing them together for a one-of-a-kind creation or looking to their history to inspire his latest output, Shimizu consistently blends a classic aesthetic with a progressive, contemporary sensibility. 

A lightweight summer shirt with classic details such as an open collar and large front buttons. The balance between the short boxy length and slightly longer sleeves also gives a retro mood. The contrast plant emblem print is also embroidered which gives the shirt a unique texture.
