Before impacting brands like Jil Sanders, Calvin Klein, and Prada, Raf Jan Simons was just starting out as a self-taught menswear designer, launching Raf Simons in the Fall/Winter of ’95. 

Today, with cosigns from the likes of A$AP Rocky, Kanye, and the late Virgil Abloh, Raf Simons has become a household name in the fashion world but don’t get it twisted, there is nothing commonplace about it. In fact, Raf Simons has been ahead of the curve since the beginning – heck the brand engineered the curve – leaving a trail of inspiration wherever it goes.

With the goal of expressing pride in individuality, Raf’s designs are influenced by everything from surplus military and DIY punk to avant-garde plays on proportions, showing his versatility and ability to weave varying interests into cohesive styles. 

Not bad for a furniture designer from Belgium!
