It’s been 30 years since the Jordan 5 first took the sneaker world by storm. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and inspired by World War II P-51 Mustang fighter planes, the silhouette saw many popular colorways, but none perhaps as classic as the “Fire Red.” With Chicago Bulls team colors at its core, the “Fire Red” would see a re-release in 2000 and again in 2013. But this third reiteration of the Retro colorway promises to be the truest in form to the original.

Dressed primarily in a white leather upper, the silhouette includes the signature translucent, netted window and stunning 3M reflective tongue. Branding appears both in the red embroidered Jumpman and the simple, but timeless “Nike Air’ stitched into the heel. An icy blue outsole, visible air, and those tooth-marked red accents borrowed from the fighter jets complete the package.
