Turns out you don’t need to be bitten by a radioactive spider to be like Spider-Man. All it takes is the right pair of Js – like the ones seen on Miles Morales in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, exclusively in theaters.

To celebrate Sony’s upcoming feature, Jordan created the Air Jordan 1 “Next Chapter” which doesn’t judge whether you’ve seen all the Marvel movies or thought that “Marvel” was the first name of that Redenbacher popcorn guy. 

Featuring a leather upper with angular panels and suede detailing, shades of red keep the sneaker true to the Jumpman and Spidey while bursts of multi-color on the ankle and eyelet strips reference the animation style the franchise has become known for.
