Blue featured on Michael Jordan’s uniform during his pre-signature shoe college days with North Carolina, and then at the end of his third NBA run with the Wizards. But for the majority of his NBA career, the color didn’t figure into MJ’s on-court wear. Thanks to the famous ‘Royal’ 1985 OG colorway, blue still occupies a prominent place in Jordan 1 lore. 

The latest Jordan 1 colorway applies a vivid, “signal blue’ shade to a classic Jordan 1 makeup, with white leather uppers and black Swoosh branding paired with bold, glossy patent overlays.
