“Old E” or Olde English is a malt liquor that often comes in bargain priced large format bottles, the most famous of which being the 40 oz variety. Old English, on the other hand, is a reference to the earliest form of the language we now know as English. Brought to Great Britain by the Anglo Saxoners in the mid-5th century, the language eventually developed the use of a garish gothic styled font, employed decoratively in this trippy new sherpa from Pleasures. Something tells me they’re tying those two ideas together.
