New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio takes the casual, yet sporty 1300 and dresses it up in a striking array of bold, season-appropriate colors. 

Using only surplus materials from New Balance projects of the past, the mismatched, multicolored pair takes the familiar silhouette born in the 1980s and adds a reimagined ENCAP Reveal sole accentuated with a rugged Vibram outsole.

Premium pigskin suede overlays combine with leather accents, a perforated mesh toebox and vegetable-tanned colorations. For the third time in two weeks, New Balance has quickly another entry into our hearts for Shoe of the Year.
