The Gel Lyte V Re-Material draws inspiration from the concept of discarding contents from a cutting room floor and using them for a brand new creation.The shoe’s original upper is a montage of various features from different sketches that had previously been thrown away from previous designs. The tooling retains its wavy design from when it first hit the sneaker market in 1993. Only this time, the midsole’s construction uses at least 20% recycled materials to support more sustainable manufacturing, coinciding with the no waste theme.
