After serving as a canvas for Jun Takahashi’s aggressive modernism, the Nike Daybreak returns to its 1979 form. Thanks to a simple, pleasing 1970s design, its popularity with genuine runners and a paucity of reissues over the past forty years, the Daybreak is a longtime cult favorite amongst Nike enthusiasts.

The waffle sole equipped, EVA cushioned, nylon/suede makeup of the Daybreak is outfitted with old-school colorways and graphics, and constructed as closely as possible to the original, 1979 specifications. All that’s missing is those really short ’70s running shorts.
