If you are a surfer, these boots might look very familiar. For the rest of the sneaker-wearing world, the Boot Scoot probably doesn’t look like anything that would come out of Vans’s old school playbook. 

Taking their inspiration and design cues from the Vans Surf Booty, which helps cold water surfers maintain traction on their board while simultaneously preventing hypothermia, the Boot Scoot is a new “land” version of the extra high, super-light silhouette.

With neoprene uppers and a zip/velcro closure much like its oceanwear counterpart, the Boot Scoot adds perforations for breathability and comfort, leather and rubber overlays and unique twist on the iconic waffle sole.
